i got a chance to work digitally again last night and time seemed to disappear faster than i realized. I blinked and hours would be gone but i enjoyed the work alot.
I was working on a drawing that was uploaded by
eggsomniac I have taken the image uploaded by
and extracted the lineart, then cleaned it up a little, Flatted it & added a very simple BG at this point. I still have work to do... want to do the shading and add some depth to the BG but i am having fun with it and it is the first piece that i have tried to use Krita to do all of my work... this has lead to a bit slower work process as i am still getting used to the hot keys or toolsets to accomplish what i am looking to do.
While i was working on it i also captured a few images to do a tutorialish "Process walk-through" so it will actually end up being two things to upload.
I also have some sketches i was working on for
that i am going to be scanning to work over digitally as well.
HuxleyK uploaded some art that caught my interest when i first joined and was my first watcher. I had a number of small sketches that kept coming to mind and escaping from my pencils into my sketchbooks. then i got really sick and didn't feel like doing much so they sat trapped in the sketch phase waiting for me to breathe life into them when to be honest i could barely manage to breathe at all... but feeling much better now and i am trying to get all the things i want to get done finished. there never seems to be enough hours in the day to do it all but it is fun trying.
I have been toying around with ideas for a pixelid and i have some rough sketches (AKA - scribbles) but i am gonna finish what i have going right now before starting another piece (suuuuuuure, suuuuuuure
)
I am sure there is something i am forgetting but i will grab a coffee and wrestle with my demons to get through until i can get back to my tablet.
